The process of looking for employment is called job hunting. It may be due to unemployment of discontent with a current job. The immediate objective of job hunting is getting an interview with a potential employer. The long-term goal is to get hired and build a career. Some common methods of job hunting include using online employment websites, job search engines, or via traditional methods such as browsing through printed classified, or using an employment agency. It may also be done through networking.
